The collection consists of 3 letters. The Civil War letter, from Haynes to Gilbert Everts, was written from Bridgeport, Tn. shortly after the battle at Missionary Ridge. The other letters, from J.S. Boynton to Everts, deal with an unexplained business matter. Also included is genealogical information about the Haynes family, and a photocopy of two family photos.
